To those of y’all unfamiliar with the ZYX brand (pronounced ZICKS and made in Japan), it’s a company devoted to one purpose: elevating the design and manufacture of phono cartridges to high art. I’m not an expert on Japanese culture and art, but I do know that they take that stuff seriously. Calligraphy, watercolor, fine porcelain ceramics, Zen temple architecture, Samurai swords, master Sushi chefs, I mean c’mon.
