The Hifi Man: Hi this is The Hifi Man once again and this time I'm going to be comparing Pro Audio speakers versus home audio speakers and what is good for you!

Well the fact is that many people often ask us as to “why can't I buy a cheaper pro audio speaker which I've seen in cafeterias. It's much cheaper… why do I need to spend so much more on a stereo speaker or a audiophile speaker?”

Well for those of you who don't who are not aware let me tell you that there is a difference between a pro audio speaker and an audiophile - proper stereo two channel speaker. And let me show you how…  Okay now this is a pro audio speaker and uh we put them up in a lot of uh bars, pubs, cafes and this…  is a highly sophisticated home audio speaker. Now what is the difference both of them? This one sounds right in a cafeteria and uh perhaps it could sound good in your home as well at at1/4 the price.

But, the fact is that this doesn't quite do so well in a home environment. Because these are designed for noisy environments and these have to outshout the noise and still sound Distortion free and Crystal Clear in those environments all day and night…  but they don't have the ultimate micro detail and Nuance of what a stereo speaker will bring. As these are designed to be in your house where you don't have such a noisy environment you have a Listening Room. And you know all the micro detailing that these guys are capable of - you will be able to hear them. In fact you will find that when you listen to something like this you find that the artist is ight in front of you in the room!

If you shut your eyes that's how good these can be, so these in essence the Pro Audio speakers are meant to play loud & Distortion free without the coils burning out. Because they're going to be playing loud for hours and hours. So they're designed to play Loud.

These (Stereo / home speakers) are designed to play quiet in quieter rooms. And they will sound and give you sound even on the lower volume you will be able to hear each and every ching and Ting and Tong! So Choose Wisely if you're going for home stereo  go for this (Home streo speaker)  if you have um bar, Pub,  club or a cafeteria that you want us to uh design sound for, then we'll probably recommend you these (the pro audio speaker) and these will work better…
